Project LADY technical workshop

On May 5th, 2025, the Croatian Geological Survey (HGI-CGS) organized the first technical workshop within the LADY project. The workshop was held in Zagreb and gathered around twenty experts from partner institutions in Croatia participating in the project. In addition to HGI-CGS, the event was attended by colleagues from the Civil Protection Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of the University of Zagreb (FER), and the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering of the University of Tuzla.

Participants were presented with preliminary results of the subjectivity analysis in landslide inventory delineation. A detailed analysis of the results was presented by PhD Davor Pollak (HGI-CGS). Preliminary results of the automatically generated landslide cadastre, based on data derived from LiDAR and artificial intelligence methods, were presented by PhD Marko Subašić and Mario Tropčić (FER).

A technical discussion followed, led by PhD Vlatko Gulam, the LADY project manager. All participants actively engaged in the discussion, during which further steps were defined to improve input data quality and enhance the methodology for automated landslide cadastre generation.
