Geomatic Research
Geomatics is defined as a discipline that refers to measurement, distribution, storage, processing, analysis, visualization and presentation of spatial data. Geomatics researches are including advanced tools and techniques used in geodesy, remote sensing, photogrammetry, hydrography, cartography, geoinformation systems (GIS), global satellite navigation system (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, COMPASS) and other linked geosciences. In geomatics researches that contribute to the development of society, science, quality of life, natural heritage and resources in an innovative way, for collecting data, data spatial modeling and data management, specialist skills, knowledge and understanding should be required.
