sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>U znanstvenom \u010dasopisu Geomorphology objavljen je znanstveni rad pod naslovom \u201cLate Quaternary geomorphology and sedimentary processes in the Prolo\u0161ko Blato karst wetland (Imotsko Polje, Croatia)\u201d, koji je rezultat suradnje djelatnika Hrvatskog geolo\u0161kog instituta, Rudarsko-geolo\u0161ko-naftnog fakulteta Sveu\u010dili\u0161ta u Zagrebu te privatne tvrtke Geoda d.o.o.<\/p>\n<p>U radu su prikazani rezultati istra\u017eivanja kasno-pleistocenskih i holocenskih sedimenata te geomorfologije kr\u0161kog mo\u010dvarnog podru\u010dja Prolo\u0161kog blata, smje\u0161tenog u sjeverozapadnom dijelu Imotskog polja. Kombinacijom sedimentolo\u0161kih, geofizi\u010dkih i geomorfolo\u0161kih metoda utvr\u0111en je razvoj Prolo\u0161kog blata od posljednjeg glacijalnog perioda (Last Glacial Period) do danas: 1) aluvijalna faza karakterizirana talo\u017eenjem \u017eu\u0107kasto-sivih glinovitih do pjeskovitih siltova, pijesaka i \u0161ljunaka u distalnom dijelu aluvijalne lepeze (~30 000 \u2013 19 000 cal. god. pr.sad.), s vjerojatnim povremenim ujezeravanjem tijekom morskih izotopnih stadija MIS 3 i MIS 2; 2) paleojezerska faza karakterizirana prvotno talo\u017eenjem vrlo tamnog sivo-sme\u0111eg glinovitog silta (~9000 \u2013 8000 cal. god. pr. sad.), a zatim masivnog svjetlo-sivog pjeskovitog silta (jezerskog karbonata) bogatog lju\u0161turicama gastropoda (8000 \u2013 800 cal. god. pr. sad.), koji reflektiraju postupno produbljavanje bazena i formiranje stabilnog paleojezera; 3) poslije-paleojezerska faza karakterizirana naglom promjenom facijesa jezerskog karbonata u tamni sivkasto-sme\u0111i glinoviti silt (800 cal. god. pr. sad. \u2013 danas), s litolo\u0161kom granicom koja pokazuje brojne glinovite interkalacije i poreme\u0107eni sediment koji sugeriraju promjene hidrolo\u0161kih uvjeta u paleojezeru. Istovremeno, geomorfolo\u0161ke zna\u010dajke podru\u010dja upu\u0107uju na formiranje vrta\u010de u isto\u010dnom dijelu Prolo\u0161kog blata, koja je hipotetski dovela do isu\u0161ivanja paleojezera i formiranja sezonski plavljene mo\u010dvare u kr\u0161u, kakva prevladava i danas na tome podru\u010dju.
