global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>U znanstvenom \u010dasopisu <em>Gondwana Research <\/em>(<em>Elsevier<\/em>, faktor odjeka \u010dasopisa: 6.151) \u00a0objavljen je znanstveni rad pod naslovom <em>Tracing widespread Early Miocene ignimbrite eruptions and petrogenesis at the onset of the Carpathian-Pannonian Region silicic volcanism<\/em>. Rad je rezultat suradnje znanstvenika iz Hrvatskog geolo\u0161kog instituta te iz brojnih drugih institucija iz Hrvatske i inozemstva.<\/p>\n<p>U radu su multidisciplinarnim pristupom istra\u017eivane donjomiocenske primarne vulkanoklasti\u010dne naslage (ignimbriti i piroklasti\u010dne naslage talo\u017eene iz zraka) ra\u0161irene od sjeverne Ma\u0111arske preko sjeverne Hrvatske do Dinarida, kako bi se dobio uvid u kronologiju erupcija, tefrostratigrafiju i petrogenezu magmi na po\u010detku silicijskog vulkanizma Karpatsko-Panonske regije &#8211; podru\u010dja koje je tijekom donjeg i srednjeg miocena proizvelo neke od najve\u0107ih vulkanskih erupcija na podru\u010dju Europe za vrijeme litosfernog stanjivanja Panonskog bazena. Na temelju integriranih litolo\u0161kih, mineralo\u0161kih, geokronolo\u0161kih, geokemijskih i izotopnih podataka definirana je erupcija Kalnik, koja se dogodila prije ~ 18.1 milijuna godina, te erupcija Eger, koja se zbila prije ~ 17.3 milijuna godina. Obje su erupcije proizvele \u0161iroko rasprostranjene i voluminozne riolitne vulkanoklasti\u010dne naslage talo\u017eene iz piroklasti\u010dnih tokova (masivni ignimbriti povezani sa stvaranjem kaldera), koje su prekrile podru\u010dje od sjevernog do jugozapadnog dijela Karpatsko-Panonske regije. Erupcijski produkti nastali tijekom erupcije Eger tako\u0111er su dosegli i udaljene jezerske bazene Dinarida, pri \u010demu su paleo-isto\u010dni vjetrovi nosili vulkanski pepeo stotinama kilometara na jugozapad. Magmatski sustavi koji su proizveli erupciju Kalnik bili su slo\u017eeni, te zabilje\u017eeni heterogeni sastav vulkanskog stakla upu\u0107uje da je prilikom erupcije do\u0161lo do istovremene evakuacije magmi iz dvaju odvojenih magmatskih tijela.
