theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Tijekom svibnja 2022. godine doktorandica Ivona Ivki\u0107 Filipovi\u0107 provela je znanstveno usavr\u0161avanje u laboratoriju za stabilne izotope Britanske geolo\u0161ke slu\u017ebe (Keyworth, Nottingham) pod vodstvom Prof. Melanie Leng. Svrha usavr\u0161avanja bila je analiza stabilnih izotopa kisika i ugljika na jezerskom karbonatu i lju\u0161turicama ostrakoda iz kr\u0161kih jezera i paleojezera u Dalmaciji. Boravak u UK u trajanju od mjesec dana potpomognut je stipendijom zaklade British Scholarship Trust i financijskom potporom Zavoda za mineralne sirovine Hrvatskog geolo\u0161kog instituta.<\/p>\n<p>Za analize stabilnih izotopa odabrane su jezgre sedimenata iz Velog blata na otoku Pagu, zatim iz paleojezera u Prolo\u0161kom blatu u Imotskom polju te Visova\u010dkog jezera u sklopu Nacionalnog parka Krka. Analize jezerskog karbonata odra\u0111ene su na sve tri jezgre, dok su analize na lju\u0161turicama ostrakoda napravljene samo na jezgri iz Velog blata jer je pokazala najbolji potencijal za iste (zastupljenost vrsta, o\u010duvanost mikrofosila od dijagenetskih procesa). Inicijalna priprema uzoraka odra\u0111ena je u laboratorijima Zavoda za mineralne sirovine Hrvatskog geolo\u0161kog instituta, a sastojala se od uklanjanja svih ne\u017eeljenih komponenti sedimenta, u prvome redu organske tvari, i mikropaleontolo\u0161ke analize ostrakoda u odabranim uzorcima (identifikacija vrsta, kvantitativna obrada, izdvajanje lju\u0161turica za izotopnu analizu). Uzorci su se dalje pripremali u laboratorijima BGS-a, u \u0161to spada otapanje jezerskog karbonata u fosfornoj kiselini i dobivanje plina CO<sub>2<\/sub> za analizu na masenom spektrometru, te \u010di\u0161\u0107enje lju\u0161turica ostrakoda metodom <em>plasma ashinga<\/em>, radi uklanjanja zaostale organske tvari.
