sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Objavljen je rad pod naslovom \u201eA Holocene Sedimentary Record and the Impact of Sea-Level Rise in the Karst Lake Velo Blato and the Wetlands on Pag Island (Croatia)\u201c, u znanstvenom \u010dasopisu Water, kao dio Special Issue \u201eGeochemical Processes of Karst and Karst Paleoenvironments\u201c. Rad su objavili autori Nikolina Ilijani\u0107, Slobodan Miko, Ivona Ivki\u0107 Filipovi\u0107, Ozren Hasan, Martina \u0160parica Miko, Josip Terzi\u0107 i Tamara Markovi\u0107 iz Hrvatskog geolo\u0161kog instituta i Branko Petrinec s Instituta za medicinska istra\u017eivanja i medicinu rada iz Zagreba.<\/p>\n<p>Istra\u017eivani su jezero Velo blato te mo\u010dvarna podru\u010dja Malog i Kolanjskog blata na otoku Pagu, kao jedne od rijetkih pojava staja\u0107e povr\u0161inske slatke vode na ovom najrazvedenijem hrvatskom otoku. Stoga su prikazane osnovne karakteristike jezerskih voda, a pomo\u0107u jezerskih sedimenata i <em>multiproxy<\/em> analiza koje su uklju\u010divale kombinaciju sedimentolo\u0161kih, mineralo\u0161kih i geokemijskih pokazatelja s mikropaleontolo\u0161kim analizama ostrakoda, rekonstruiran je nastanak i evolucija jezera te izdizanje morske razine tijekom holocena. Istaknuta je va\u017enost porasta razine mora na nizinska podru\u010dja isto\u010dne obale Jadranskog mora i njegovu va\u017enost na formiranje slatkovodnih jezera, koja postupno postaju bo\u010data zbog prodora mora u podzemne vode. Promjene okoli\u0161a dokumentirane u istra\u017eivanim jezerima imaju \u0161iri utjecaj na sli\u010dna podru\u010dja du\u017e isto\u010dne obale Jadranskog mora, kao i u drugim obalnim kr\u0161kim sredinama, kako za nastanak postoje\u0107ih jezera tako i za paleojezera u kr\u0161kim bazenima, od kojih su mnoga poplavljena usplijed porasta morske razine.<\/p>\n<p>Rad je objavljen u otvorenom
