sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Znanstveni rad objavljen u \u010dasopisu Journal of the Geological Society rezultat je istra\u017eivanja geologa sa Texas Tech University Lubbock (Texas, SAD), Naturhistorisches Museum Wien (Austria) i\u00a0 Hrvatskog geolo\u0161kog instituta u Zagrebu (Hrvatska).<\/p>\n<p>U radu su prikazani rezultati mineralo\u0161kih i geokemijskih istra\u017eivanja andezitnih, trahiandezitnih, riolitnih i trahitnih tufova miocenske starosti s vi\u0161e lokaliteta podru\u010dja Dinarida i jugozapadnog dijela Panonskog bazena s ciljem detektiranja njihovih podru\u010dja izvori\u0161ta, kao i intenziteta vulkanizma i raspodjele vulkanskog pepela. Istra\u017eivanja su pokazala da tufovi donjeg miocena (DM) i donjeg srednjeg miocena (DSM) (17,0\u201314,0 Ma) vjerojatno potje\u010du iz Zapadnih Karpata (vulkansko podru\u010dje B\u00fckkalja), dok su izvori\u0161ta tufova gornjeg srednjeg miocena (GSM) (13,8\u201312,5 Ma) bila u Apusenskom gorju i\/ili Isto\u010dnim Karpatima. Prostorni odnos tufova DM\/DSM i GSM s obzirom na njihova izvori\u0161ta (vulkansko podru\u010dje B\u00fckkalja odnosno Apusensko gorje) u skladu je s troposferskim isto\u010dnim passatom koji je pepeo prenosio stotine kilometara prema jugozapadu, azimutom \u2248 200-250\u00b0.<\/p>\n<p>Rad je dostupan na poveznici: <a
