global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Temeljni i interdisciplinarni pristup u istra\u017eivanju naglih klimatskih promjena omogu\u0107ava nam da dobijemo vrijedne podatke i protuma\u010dimo dinamiku tih promjena. Ovi podaci i njihova interpretacija mogu \u010diniti osnovu, kako za usporedbu paleoklimatskih promjena s recentnim, tako i za predvi\u0111anje dinamike tih promjena u budu\u0107nosti. Te spoznaje mogu olak\u0161ati prilagodbu \u010dovje\u010danstva na promjene koje \u0107e utjecati na sve aspekte \u017eivota na Zemlji. Zbog brzih i neupitnih klimatskih promjena i prijetnji koje su se pojavile, geolozi poku\u0161avaju, na osnovu zapisa u kvartarnim sedimentima, identificirati njihov tijek.<\/p>\n<p>Specifi\u010dna geolo\u0161ka i pedolo\u0161ka raznolikost, zemljopisni polo\u017eaj, geomorfologija i klimatska raznolikost Hrvatske omogu\u0107uju paralelno istra\u017eivanje razvoja naglih klimatskih promjena visokom rezolucijom na lokacijama udaljenim samo 300 km. Ovim istra\u017eivanjem unaprijedit \u0107e se na\u0161e znanje o prostornom opsegu i razlikama izme\u0111u paleoklimatskih promjena u panonskom i dinarskom podru\u010dju. Time \u0107e se dobiti uvid kako su se klimatske promjene manifestirale na me\u0111usobno udaljenim eolskim-fluvioglacijalnim-jezerskim facijesima u jugoisto\u010dnoj Europi i usporediti ih s naglim klimatskim promjenama u europskom pojasu pijeska te ih korelirati s klimatskim zapisima iz Jadranskog mora.<\/p>\n<p>Projekt je usmjeren kako na ekonomske i dru\u0161tvene potrebe, tako i na znanstveno-tehnolo\u0161ki napredak te \u0107e osigurati klju\u010dne podatke za mjerodavno tuma\u010denje i usporedbu dinamike naglih klimatskih promjena. Temeljem tih podataka mo\u0107i \u0107e se predvidjeti intenzitet i trajanje doga\u0111aja koji \u0107e biti vjerojatna posljedica aktualnih klimatskih promjena u Hrvatskoj (Brankovi\u0107 i sur., 2013; Turner i sur., 2020). Projekt \u0107e identificirati i locirati kriti\u010dne ekolo\u0161ke uvjete tijekom kvartara kada su se dogodile velike geomorfolo\u0161ke, hidrogeolo\u0161ke i promjene tla te se posljedi\u010dno mogu o\u010dekivati promjene recentnih ekosustava u budu\u0107nosti. Rezultati ovog projekta omogu\u0107it \u0107e razvoj modela kojim bi se predvidjela dinamika tih transformacija u skladu s trendovima klimatskih promjena u spomenutim klimatskim regijama.
