Istra\u017eivane su gornjomiocenske i pliocenske naslage, koje predstavljaju fosilni zapis nekada\u0161njeg Panonskog jezera na podru\u010dju hrvatskog i ma\u0111arskog dijela Dravske depresije.<br \/> Podaci iz su prikupljeni i obra\u0111eni na temelju standardiziranih metoda snimanja geolo\u0161kih stupova i kartiranja izdanaka, biostratigrafije (palinologija, ostrakodi i meku\u0161ci) te refleksijske seizmike i podataka iz dubokih bu\u0161otina. Na temelju navedenih istra\u017eivanja, dobiveni su novi zaklju\u010dci vezani uz stratigrafiju, sedimentologiju i dinamiku zapunjavanja prostora Dravske depresije tijekom mla\u0111eg miocena i pliocena.
