The HGI-CGS SIMONA team participated at the 13th International Scientific\/Professional Conference AGRICULTURE IN NATURE AND ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION, that was held in Osijek (Croatia) in period from 7th to 9th of the September 2020. Dr.sc. Ajka \u0160o\u0161a, team leader from Croatian Geological Survey, and team member dr.sc. Lidija Galovi\u0107, presented SIMONA project through poster presentation under the title: TRANSNATIONALLY HARMONIZED SEDIMENT SAMPLING AND LABORATORY PROTOCOLS FOR HSs IN DRB\u2019S SURFACE WATERS PROPOSAL. Roundtable was organized at the conference with topic concerning an increasingly pressing issue of desertification, land degradation and drought (DLDD). The keynote speakers were eminent national and foreign experts. Organisation of the conference was done according to recommendations for prevention from COVID-19.<\/p>\n
