Josip Terzi\u0107, dipl. ing. geol.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Po\u010detkom 2020. godine u sklopu poziva \u201eShema za ja\u010danje primijenjenih istra\u017eivanja za mjere prilagodbe klimatskim promjenama\u201c odobren je projekt UKV \u201eUpravljanje kr\u0161kim priobalnim vodonosnicima ugro\u017eenima klimatskim promjenama\u201c koji \u0107e se sufinancirati iz Europskog fonda za regionalni razvoj. Nositelj projekta je Geotehni\u010dki fakultet, Sveu\u010dili\u0161ta u Zagrebu iz Vara\u017edina, dok su Dr\u017eavni hidrometeorolo\u0161ki zavod i Gra\u0111evinski fakultet Sveu\u010dili\u0161ta u Rijeci uz Hrvatski geolo\u0161ki institut partneri projekta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Projekt UKV usmjeren je na istra\u017eivanje ne\u017eeljenih posljedica klimatskih promjena, prvenstveno pove\u0107anja saliniteta, temperature i pogor\u0161anje kakvo\u0107e u priobalnim kr\u0161kim vodonosnicima. Promjena klime utje\u010de na povi\u0161enje prosje\u010dne temperature zraka i vode, promjenu razina mora, produljenje su\u0161nih razdoblja s kratkim ekstremnim oborinama, smanjenje ukupne vodne bilance tijekom razdoblja malih voda, smanjene infiltracije vode u podzemlje i sli\u010dno. Sve te promjene imaju direktan utjecaj na dinami\u010dku ravnote\u017eu slatke i slane vode u priobalnim vodonosnicima \u0161to rezultira zaslanjenjem vodonosnika.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Sve u\u010destalija su\u0161na razdoblja s pojavama vrlo intenzivnih oborina u kr\u0161kim vodonosnicima uvjetuju probleme s mikrobiolo\u0161kim one\u010di\u0161\u0107enjima, one\u010di\u0161\u0107enjima te\u0161kim metalima i pojavom visokih mutno\u0107a podzemnih voda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">U kr\u0161kom dijelu Republike Hrvatske ve\u0107ina vodoopskrbnih objekata nalazi se u priobalnom dijelu gdje \u017eivi ve\u0107ina populacije, naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e su to gradovi i naselja bez alternativne vodoopskrbe. Razvoj turizma i poljoprivrede pove\u0107ava sezonske eksploatacije vodonosnika, posebno tijekom ljetnih razdoblja kada su potrebe za vodom najve\u0107e.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Projektom \u0107e se uspostaviti monitoring podzemnih i povr\u0161inskih voda na tri pilot podru\u010dja, podru\u010dje slijeva Bokanjac-Poli\u010dnik u zadarskom zale\u0111u, podru\u010dje Blatskog polja na otoku Kor\u010duli i Vranskog jezera na otoku Cresu za koja \u0107e se analizirati kakvo\u0107a i koli\u010dine povr\u0161inskih i podzemnih voda te izraditi klimatski i hidrolo\u0161ki modeli za razdoblje do kraja ovoga stolje\u0107a.
